Crackdown continues against gas pilfering

QUETTA: The crackdown is continued against the gas pilfering in the Quetta city and other parts of the province.
This was stated by General Manager of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) Agha Muhammad Baloch here.
He mentioned that various teams have been formed for the purpose to check and prevent the theft of the gas.
The teams are submitting reports in this regard after taking action on the regular basis, the GM maintained.
Hundreds of the illegal gas connections have been disconnected in Quetta and Kalat zones, he also said adding that legal action is also being taken against those involved in the gas pilferage.
He said that the gas is a natural blessing and its misuse and that pilfering would not be tolerated at all.
The GM appealed to the gas consumers to avoid misuse and pilfering of the gas.
He also appealed to the gas consumers and defaulters to pay their gas utility bills and the dues at the earliest so that they may not face gas disconnections.
