Tough security for Eid Miladun Nabi SAW procession

QUETTA: Tough security measures were adopted for security of the procession taken out marking celebrations of the 12th Rabiul Awwal, in the metropolis the other day.
While extra police force, Balochistan Constabulary (BC) and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were deployed at the route of the Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW) procession and other points of the city, its route as well as the roads and lanes leading to it (route) were closed for normal traffic.
Around 3,300 personnel of different law enforcement agencies were deployed to maintain law and order and avert any untoward incident, the sources said.
The Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Quetta, Abdul Razzaq Cheema personally supervised the security provided on the eve of Jashne Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW).
The security was also provided to the small processions earlier in the morning. Later, the security cover was also provided to the main procession taken out from Bacha Khan chowk.
