QUETTA Jan 5 (PPI): Seven day anti polio campaign began in provincial capital Monday.
It has been divided into two phases. Under the first phase anti polio drops would be given to children upto five years of age in 17 Union Councils.
According to official sources during the campaign more than 400, 000 children would be administered anti polio drops.
Nine hundred and eighty five polio workers, 64 transit points and 95 fixed points have been made for the administration of anti polio drops.
Strict security measures have also been made for the volunteers and police workers and volunteers. During 2014 22 polio cases were reported in Balochistan while first case during 2015 has been reported from District Chagai.
