QUETTA Jan 7 (PPI): Seerat Seminar is about friendship and brotherhood. Socially we are known as disintegrated society. Hatred are prevailing on religious, ethnic and national basis despite the fact Islam gives us lesson of brotherhood and justice.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch while addressing National Seminar on ?Paigham of Seeratun Nabi, Islami bedari, qayam amn aur deshatgardi? here Wednesday.
Consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran Syed Yahyavi also spoke on the occasion.
Chief Minister said we are fighting war on terror in the country and the province. We did not compromise with terrorists rather arrested them and punish them according to law.
He said Balochistan would make development when there will be peace. We are giving millions of Rupees to those innocent people who were killed. Our all efforts are to maintain peace and spending billions in this regard.
Malik Baloch said there is atmosphere of drought in Balochistan. We pray may Allah Almighty give rain. The areas where there is drought situation is very bad there. We have tried to ensure peace in Quetta but it cannot come without the people. Unless people become guards of society there will be no peace. It is responsibility of us to play our role for peace.
He said there are enormous non Pakistanis and non Balochistanis along Eastern By Pass. He said those living in Quetta were not countrymen of this country nor ancient dwellers. We have approached federal government to pay attention towards this.
Iranian Consul General Syed Hussain Yahyavi in his speech said life of Holy Prophet Peace Be Upon Him is beacon light for world of Humanity. Muslims should move ahead sinking all faith and sectarian differences. We have one Almighty Allah, one Prophet and one Quran. We have to understand conspiracy of enemy.
We have one enemy. He said Islam is name of vision and awareness and we all have to work jointly to popularise it. To keep Islamic world intact Heads of Islamic States have to get untied and plan for security of Muslims and Islam as it is need of hour.
Addressing on the occasion Allama Juma Asadi said there is no room for terrorism and lawlessness in Islam. It was being abused and we are faced with this menace since 2001 and so far 1500 people have died while 3000 are injured.
