QUETTA Jan 7 (PPI): Church World Service was serving in Pakistan and Afghanistan and was creating awareness among different communities about problems confronting non Muslims in the country.
These views were expressed by Junaid Ahmed Member Church world Service and Sheran William at a briefing to MPA William Barkat.
Bureau Chief PPI Javaid Akhtar Khan and Reporter Mashriq Chaudhry Imtiaz were also present.
They said Church World Service was also working on 5 percent quota of minorities and legal position of Nikah and divorce, replacing Islamite with book of ethics for non Muslim children and appointment of teachers for ethics.
They told that World Church Service was serving in various parts of Quetta City including Nawan Killi, Essa Nagri in Quetta, Gymkhana Sibi and Khuzdar through its representatives.
William Barkat assured them that they were working on a bill in this regard and soon it would be tabled in Balochistan Assembly for consideration and adoption.
