Police command reviews anti-terrorism plan in Balochistan

QUETTA: A high level of the Police force was held with the Inspector General, Muhammad Amlish in the chair the other day.
The Additional Inspector General of Police, Ahsan Mehboob, Commandant Balochistan Constabulary, Muhammad Arif Nawaz, Regional Police Officer Quetta, Sardar Abdul Majeed, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Special Branch), Dr. Mujeebur Rehman, Deputy Inspector General (Crimes Branch), Muhammad Ayub Qureshi, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Quetta, Abdul Razzaq Cheema, Senior Superintendent of Police (CID) and AIG Operations.
The meeting reviewed the anti-terrorism measures and plan in this regard.
The matters pertaining to impart necessary modern training to the personnel of law enforcement agencies to counter terrorism were also considered in the meeting.
It also considered different legal aspects and progress of the under hearing cases of terrorism and other heinous crimes.
Moreover, certain decisions were also made to cope with the issue of terrorism and maintain law and order in the province.
