QUETTA: As the low gas pressure is taking heavy toll of life of the dwellers of different areas of the provincial metropolis, they are now forced to lodge protest against the issue.
A similar protest demonstration was held near Koyela railway crossing near Samungli road where dwellers of the adjoining areas gathered and showed their anger against the concerned authorities over the issue.
They chanted slogans against the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) over the issue charging that it has failed to resolve the issue. They said that while the severe cold has gripped the city, the issue of low gas pressure has increased their miseries forcing them to come out on the streets.
They demanded of the authorities concerned to resolve the issue immediately otherwise strong protest would remain continued in future as well.
The protestors including the children and elderly persons also blocked the road as a mark of protest causing disruption of the traffic.
