QUETTA Jan 25 (PPI): Ensuring peace and order is our responsibility. People, Social bodies and youth should support us for the elimination of narcotics and other moral ills and establishing peace. We are aware of problems of people. Orders have been issued to concerned police stations. People should also have contacts with police stations in a bid to deal with thieves, dacoits. If there are problems about registration of report or police non cooperation CCPO can be contacted.
These views were expressed by Capital City Police Officer Abdul Razzaq Cheema while speaking to Secretary Information Jamaat Islami Baluchistan Abdul Wali Shakir here Sunday.
JI delegation apprised CCPO about its worries over continued dacoities, street crimes, snatching of mobile phones, motorcycles and cash and said that they have informed Zarghoonabad and Bijli police stations but crimes did not stop instead these street crimes were on the rise. People are also worried for no streetlights in the area. We have also hired chowkidars on some areas and youth also perform duty at night still crimes are increasing.
They asked police stations, CCPO, IG Police and other high ups to work sincerely to check crimes.
CCPO said that establishing peace is responsibility of police and security to life and prosperity is our duty.
