Governor Balochistan insists: Promotion of modern, technical education need of hour

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Muhammad Khan Achakzai has said that promotion of modern and technical education is important need of the hour as the issue of unemployment can be overcome to a great extent by imparting the youth technical education in addition to the modern scientific one.
This, he stated while speaking on the occasion of formal launching of the official website of University of Lorarlai (UoL), here the other day.
Also present on the occasion was the Vice Chancellor of UoL, Professor Dr. Abdullah Khan and other concerned.
The affairs of the University also came up for threadbare discussion during the course of meeting.
The Governor on the occasion stressed the need to polish talent of the youth in accordance with the modern requirements of the present era so that they are not only able to lead a successful life but they may also face the future challenges.
He said that we are entering a new era of modern education and technology and we would need the educated and skilled persons.
We can put the province and the country on path of economic stability and industrial development by decorating our young generation with the ornament of modern education, maintaining the Governor believed.
The Governor also highlighted the importance of imparting education to the children in their respective mother languages and said that they can understand and learn better the modern knowledge.
He on the occasion appreciated the launching of the official website of the Loralai University.
He also directed the Vice Chancellor to ensure early completion of the buildings in the University maintaining good quality of work.
No negligence would be tolerated in quality of work, he warned. Meanwhile, the Governor also formally launched the website.
