TAMBOO Feb 7 (PPI): President PPP Balochistan Muhammad Sadiq Umrani has said suspension of electricity in Balochistan is clear proof of N League?s anti people policy. Agriculture and economy of the province has been destroyed and people of Balochistan are meted with exploitation and excesses. If Centre did not mend its attitude towards Balochistan PPP in league with people would launch protest campaign.
This eh said while speaking to Journalists by telephone from London Saturday.
He said clamant of rights of the province forgot everything after coming to power. People?s sense of deprivation was rising in the province.
He expressed deep grief and sorrow that electricity supply has been suspended from 18 to 20 hours on feeders in urban areas fo the province while all the feeders have been closed in rural areas.
He said N League government has committed excesses and injustice with the people of Balochistan and pushed them to pitched dark. We would face anti people policies.
Economy and agriculture of the province has been destroyed. There is immense increase in poverty, unemployment, backwardness. Gas and electricity is product of Balochistan and its people were being kept deprived of these facilities. Attitude of Federation towards Balochistan is condemnable. Silence of provincial coalition government over this excesses, suppression and economic murder of the people is condemnable.
If closed feeders were not opened and load shedding ended immediately, he said PPP Balochistan in league with people would launch protest movement.
