Govt.’s initiatives about prevention of cheating, unfair means laudable

QUETTA: Balochistan School Teachers Union (BSTU) has hailed the initiatives being taken by the provincial government for prevention of cheating and other unfair means in the examinations.
In a statement issued here, the General Secretary of BSTU, Aminullah Durrani said that it is good to see the government taking decisions for promotion of quality education by putting an end to the use of cheating and other unfair means in the examinations.
He also commended that the government is endeavouring to give the due right to the talented and hard working students because the injustice has been done with them in the past.
It would be a great contribution of the government and concerned authorities to eliminate the curse of cheating from the exams, he maintained.
He mentioned that the similar decisions are also being taken in other districts of the province in addition to Quetta, which would ensure quality education.
The General Secretary of BSTU stressed the need to post honest and sincere persons for monitoring of the examinations.
Meanwhile, the senior Educational Staff Association (SESA) District Quetta has also appreciated the steps taken by the provincial government for prevention of cheating in the examinations.
In a statement issued here, the President of the SESA , Syed Ebadullah Gharsheen said that it would be a big achievement of the government to wipe out cheating from the examinations as it (cheating) is producing the educated ignorant persons.
He also said that the menace of cheating has made the students dull.
Gharsheen urged all segments of the society including the parents to wholeheartedly cooperate with the government in its initiatives in this regard as it would save educational future of their children.
