QUETTA: The closing ceremony of the training workshop for the newly inducted faculty members at the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) was held here on Tuesday.
Vice Chancellor Engineer Ahmed Farooq Bazai was the chief guest.
Addressing on the occasion, he insisted that no nation could achieve the development goals without bringing about revolution in the education sector.
He said that the role of teachers is vital in guiding the nation to the right direction. So, he congratulated the newly inducted faculty members in BUITEMS and said that they are included in the list of guide of the nation.
The guiding role of teachers requires that they would discharge their duties and play their pivotal part in character building of their students, he stressed.
He urged the teachers to continue to build their capacity further so that they are able to educate their students well.
Also attended the ceremony was by the senior faculty members of the University and resource persons of the training workshop.
In the end, the certificates were distributed among the participants. They also took oath of their new responsibilities.
