QUETTA(PPI): Three terrorists were killed, one injured and four arrested in search operation conducted by Frontier Corps Balochistan in Mekran area.
FC Spokesman told here Wednesday that on secret information FC conducted search operation in PIdrak, Sar Dasht and Shadi Kor areas of Mekran division. Operation was conducted against terrorists involved in kidnapping of workers of Shadi Kor Dam and firing on passenger buses along Coastal Highway and loot.
Search operation to chase terrorists continued for three days in which more than 200 soldiers of FC participated. Search operation s also monitored by helicopters.
During operation three terrorists were killed, one injured and four were arrested. Seized from their possession was pistol (1), anti personnel mine (1), wireless sets (2), binoculars (1) and motorcycles (2).
Inspector General Frontier corps Balochistan Major General Sher Afgun expressing confidence in the action against terrorist organisations said that FC was always ready to take terrorists to task. Anti state elements following foreign agenda for money would be dealt with according to the law, he added.
