NAP points being implemented at fast pace: Durrani Provincial Apex Committee to meet in Quetta soon; Prime Minister likely to attend

QUETTA: The implementation on 20-points of the National Action Plan (NAP) is being made in Balochistan at a fast pace.
This was informed by the Secretary Home and Tribal Affairs, Balochistan, Captain ® Akbar Hussain Durrani to the media here the other day.
He told that a meeting of the provincial Apex committee is being held in Quetta soon most probably next week.
The Prime Minister, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is also likely to attend the crucial meeting, he hoped.
Besides the Prime Minister, Governor and Chief Minister Balochistan would also be attending the Apex committee meeting.
Akbar Durrain said that the police and other law enforcement agencies are being fully equipped on modern lines to combat the issue of terrorism and thus the law and order situation would improve in the province particularly after implementation on the NAP.
The intelligence sharing system is being strengthened at the district and divisional level all over the province, the Secretary Home informed further.
Referring the terrorism cases for the military courts, he told that as many as 54 cases have been sent to the Interior Ministry for further hearing in these courts.
It may be mentioned here that Apex Committee is a newly formed mechanism to coordinate security and to implement the recently approved National Action Plan (NAP), at each province level.
