“Good bye cheating” walk and seminar in Quetta today

QUETTA: A walk and seminar is being organized by the Education Department against the curse of cheating in examinations today (Thursday) in the provincial metropolis.
The walk is scheduled to start from the Government Girls College Quetta Cantonment at 10:30 AM while the seminar will be held at 11:30 AM the same day at the Boy Scouts Association’s headquarter.
The Chief Minister, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, ministers, members of the assembly, administrative secretaries of the provincial government departments, representatives of the civil society, teachers, parents and the students would be participating in the walk and seminar entitled “say no to cheating in exam” and “good bye cheating”.
The events are part of the government’s initiatives against the curse of cheating in the Matriculation examinations scheduled to begin from February 18, 2015.
It may be mentioned here that similar events are also being organized by the Education department in different other districts of the province, on special directives of Chief Minister, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch.
