QUETT A Feb 17 (PPI); Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai has said recent mutual contacts between Pakistan and Afghanistan at the political and military levels are a positive headway and there is need to further expand mutual economic, commercial and cultural ties an important need of hour.
He said this while speaking to Afghan Consul General based at Quetta Waheedullah Momand here Tuesday.
They exchanged views on facilitating Afghan students both girls and boys, look after of Afghan refugees in Pakistan and other matters of mutual interest.
Governor said that establishing law and order is not only in the interest of two countries but for entire region which can make south and central Asia hub of economic activities.
He said Afghanistan and Pakistan have close brotherly and friendly relations and two Muslims countries have cooperation in several sectors.
Afghan Consul General thanked government and people fo Pakistan for taking care of Afghan refugees for several decades.
Governor also assured every possible cooperation in resolving problems confronting Afghan students and refugees.
