PM approves various important projects, says Mandokhail

QUETTA: The Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has given approval of different projects including Zhob-Dera Ismail Khan national highway and Dera Ismail Khan-Zhob high transmission line project during his visit to Quetta.
This was claimed by the Provincial Minister for Revenue, Excise and Taxation, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail in a statement issued here.
Mandokhail also mentioned that the Prime Minister has very kindly directed to implement the projects immediately.
He believed that the projects would help bring development and prosperity in Zhob and other parts of the province.
Particularly, the national highway to be built connecting Zhob to Dera Ismail Khan would help improve the communication and transportation in the areas, he maintained.
Jaffar Mandokhail also said that the electricity project would bring a revolution in the agriculture sector resolving the longstanding electricity crisis in the area and the province.
It may be mentioned here that Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhail, who also happens to be the Provincial President of Pakistan Muslim League (PML), has also met the Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif during his recent visit to Quetta besides other personalities of the province.
During the meeting, he took up the issues with the Prime Minister.
He also mentioned that it was the longstanding demand of the people of Zhob that the high power transmission line is laid from Dera Ismail Khan to Zhob and the highway be built as well between the two cities of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw.
Meanwhile, Markazi Anjuman Tajran Balochistan has hailed the visit of Prime Minister, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to Quetta.
In a joint statement issued here, the President of Anjuman Tajran, Abdul Rahim Kakar and its other leaders Syed Taj Agha, Hazrat Ali Achakzai, Allah Dad Tareen, Muhammad Ibrahim Kasi, Saadullah Achakzai, Khuda-e-Dost, Dost Muhammad Achakzai and Noor Muhammad said that the visit of Prime Minister is welcoming and it is hoped that his visit would help resolve the issues being faced by the people of the province.
They also hoped that the Prime Minister would announce a special package for development of the province.
