QUETTA Feb 21 (PPI): Approval for LNG plant for Zhob announced by Prime Minister during his recent visit has been given. Prime Minister had assured to provide said plant at the priority and now its approval has also been given. It is good for the people fo Zhob whose long standing problem has been resolved.
This was stated by President PML Balochistan and provincial minister for Revenue, Excise and Transport Shaikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhel here Saturday.
He said we are thankful to Prime Minister who paid special attention on the problem and accorded importance to them. He said our area is facing difficulties and problems needing attention of federal government. Now he added problems have started resolving. It is also a proof of love of Prime Minister with the province and it is good thing.
Jaffar Mandokhel said LNG Plant would meet requirements of Zhob City providing gas to the people. We are happy that forests in Zhob would be safe to a great extent. Sometime ago Zhob was covered by forests but trees were cut and forests reduced. We have to save these forests which are basic need of the area. We are hopeful that with supply of gas an important problem of the people would be resolved and forests would also be saved.
Jaffar Mandokhel said in the past basic problems of electricity and gas were placed before the governments because we understand electricity and gas are very important for development and prosperity of any area.
