Zamindar Action Committee to block highways today

QUETTA: The Zamindar Action Committee (ZAC) Balochistan is going to block the main highways in the province today (Monday) against severe electricity crisis.
According to a senior office bearer of ZAC, Abdul Rehman Bazai, the zamindars of the province would observe wheel jam strike on all the important highways today.
Moreover, if the issue was not resolved even then, we would hold a long march towards Islamabad on February 26, 2015, as Bazai mentioned.
The zamindars would also stage a sit-in in front of the parliament House after reaching Islamabad, the Chairman ZAC Balochistan asserted.
He said that the zamindars are forced to lodge protest because of the lingering electricity load shedding crisis in the interior province.
He pointed out that the electricity is being supplied only for one hour a day to the agriculture feeders in the interior Balochistan causing colossal losses to the agriculture sector. The electricity crisis has caused loss of billions of rupees to the zamindars of the province, he maintained.
