Bodies of 7 miners recovered from mine

DUKI Feb 22 (PPI): Dead bodies of seven miners were recovered after 72 hours here Sunday. All the bodies were burnt and it was quite difficult to recognize them.
PML-N MNA from Swat Dr Ibadullah attended namaz janaza of mine workers. These bodies were airlifted by helicopter to native area in Shangla.
According to details a coal mine in Duki was filled with poisonous gas three days ago. As a result one mine worker had died and 11 fell unconscious. Remaining seven bodies remain stranded for 72 hours. A rescue team from Quetta reached the scene. It dug another tunnel to reach to the affected mine. Assistant commissioner Duki Zafarullah and Tehsildar Habibur Rehman Luni supervised rescue work.
MNA from Swat Dr Ibadullah also reached the scene. He remained with the relatives of deceased mine workers. He also arranged for shifting dead bodies to native area in Swat. Member Balochistan Assembly Sardar Dur Muhammad Nassar also participated in relief activates.
They were identified as Khan Bakht, Mir Alam, Azeem Khan, Khan Aqil, Zaman, Mohib Khan and Azizur Rehman. These dead bodies were sent to native area Shangla by helicopter. MNA Dr Ibadullah also proceeded with dead bodies.
Meanwhile Balochistan chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has announced Rupees 0.7 million for each deceased. He has also announced Rupees 0.1 million for burial of mine workers.
While condoling the incident Chief Minister termed it ignorance of administration.
