Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch underlines need for close rapport and understanding among law enforcers

QUETTA: Chief Minister, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch has categorically stated that the provincial government would extend every possible cooperation to the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) for maintaining law and order situation in the province including Makran division.
This, he stated while chairing a meeting on law and order during his visit to Turbat the other day.
The overall law and order situation in Kech district was reviewed during the meeting.
Commissioner Makran, Pasand Khan Buledi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Muhammad Naseem Lehri, Deputy Commissioner Kech, Mumtaz Ali Baloch, District Police Officer (DPO) Kech, Imran Ali Qureshi and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
The Chief Minister said that the wholehearted resources would be provided to the law enforcers in the Kech district.
He directed to take effective steps for maintaining law and order not only at the district but at the tehsil level also.
He said that no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.
He directed to take stern action against those found absence from their duty places. He noted with concern that the government is compelled to take security measures for executing the ongoing development schemes in the area.
This is causing impediment in early completion of the projects of roads, he maintained.
Referring the overall law and order situation, the Chief Minister said that the issue of law and order has been resolved to a great extent thanks to the initiatives taken by the coalition government.
However, still an improvement is required in rural areas of the province so that the peoples’ confidence is restored on the government, he added.
Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch said that the close rapport and understanding is needed among the concerned agencies to bring more improvement in law and order situation in the province.
Meanwhile, addressing the gathering of intellectuals, lawyers and the elected representatives of the local bodies, the Chief Minister said that the present government would come up to the expectations of public by taking serious steps for solution of their issues.
He said that the present government is a responsible government, and we don’t believe in hollow slogans, rather we are taking practical steps to resolve issues of the masses.
He also said that the party workers are our asset and they may guide us in the right direction if we do something wrong so that we may mend our way in future.
He also mentioned that the National Party is working as per its manifesto, and we would never shatter the trust of the people at all.
Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch said that we would be calling meetings to review the government’s performance.
