Valley receives snowfall

QUETTA Feb 24 (PPI): Quetta Valley and adjoining areas received snowfall Tuesday. During two hours 1 centimetre of snowfall was recorded. Temperature dropped to minus 1.5 Celsius at night.
According to details Quetta valley received snowfall this afternoon. It continued till late at night. Earlier during the day snow grains (frozen rain) had also fallen. Snowfall made the weather cold and people took out their woollies and warm clothes again.
It is in the wake of heavy rains and hailstorm of last night.
Minimum temperature recorded here Tuesday was 2.5 Celsius and maximum 8 Celsius.
Met office has predicted snowfall tonight and cloudy weather during the day Wednesday.
