Umrani meets Akhtar Mengal

QUETTA Feb 24 (PPI): President Balochistan National Sardar Akthar Mengal and President PPP Balochistan Muhammad Sadiq Umrani have said unless people are given control over provincial resources and coast, situation in the province cannot improve. If Gwadar-Kashgar Corridor route was changed people would come out.
They expressed these views while speaking to Newsmen at Akhtar Mengal?s residence here Tuesday.
Akhtar Mengal said unless our right over coast and resources of Balochistan is accepted situation in the province cannot improve. He warned if Gwadar-Kashgar route was changed it would have serious repercussions. Federal government and provincial government never asked us about any problem. Operation continued earlier and it was continuing yet. Throwing mutilated bodies was also continuing. People are abducted and then their mutilated dead bodies are thrown.
He said we have been struggling for rights of Balochistan and would continue so onwards. Excesses were made with us always but we have protested for rights of people of Balochistan at every forum.
Akhtar Mengal a former Balochistan Chief Minister said decision of change in Gwadar-Kashgar route is government?s own. We have not been taken into confidence over it.
Law and order situation was deteriorating in the province day by day during present government period increasing sense of deprivation of people. He said unless people?s right over coast and resources is admitted situation would not improve.
Muhammad Sadiq Umrani said he held discussion with Akthar Mengal on political situation in Balochistan law and order and next general elections. This process of exchange of views would continue onwards also.
He said law and order situation in the province has deteriorated. Life and property of people is not secure. So long people get security sense of deprivation would increase in them.
He said law and order situation has turned worse in Turbat, Gwadar, Nasirabad, Quetta and other areas where there seems no writ of government. He said government makes claims but it has no powers. Powers are in the hands of others.
