Committee constituted to probe Duki mine incident

QUETTA Feb 24 (PPI): Provincial Mines and Mineral Development Department (Technical section) has constituted a committee to probe Feb 19, 2015 mine incident at Duki.
Mumtaz Ahmed Assistant Professor Government College of Technology will be its chairman while Asfand Yar Mine Manager PMDC Sor Range and Muhammad Atif divisional Inspector of Mines would be members.
Meanwhile Committee started in work from today. An important meeting was held here today with Mumtaz Ahmed in the chair. It was told that committee would soon visit affected mine and collect evidences of the incident. Till then this mine would remain closed and no one would be allowed to go to this mine so that evidences are not lost.
If anyone desires to inform committee about the incident he can record his statement on February 26 and 27 from 9 am to 2 pm.
