Balochistan Local Govt (amendment) bill 2015 tabled in BA

QUETTA(PPI): Balochistan Local Government (amendment) Bill 2015 was introduced in the House here Thursday.
The house was chaired by Speaker Jan Muhammad Jamali.
President Balochistan National Party Sardar Akthar Mengal also attended the session today.
Bill was introduced by Adviser to Chief Minister Obedullah Babat. He moved the House to exempt the said bill from the requirements of Rule 24 of Provincial Assembly Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business 1974.
He also moved the House the said bill should also be exempted from the requirements of Rule 84 of Provincial Assembly Rules of procedure and Conduct of Business 1974. It is because House committees do not exist yet.
Statement of objects and reasons said through a Balochistan Ordinance No 1 of 2014 which was promulgated with the assent of the Governor Balochistan and published in the Balochistan Gazette on Nov 26, 2014 Sections 2, 10, 12, 18 and 27 of Balochistan Local government Act 2010 (Act no V of 2010) relating to the Local Bodies Election were amended, which is going to expire on Feb 25, 2016. As such as required under Article 128 (2) (a) of the Constitution of Pakistan 1973 the same is needed to be placed before provincial assembly for approval.
