Yasmeen Lehri calls for wholehearted efforts to put end to cheating

QUETTA: The President of National Party (NP) Women Wing and Member Provincial Assembly, Ms. Yasmeen Lehri has said that cheating is eating wisdom of the younger generation like termite, so we have to eradicate the menace fully from the examinations.
Our degree holders are leading life being unemployed because of their incapability due to cheating, maintained the NP’s parliamentarian during surprise visit to the examination centers established in the Girls Railway High School, Girls Model High School, Gharibabad Boys School in Sibi the other day.
Also present on the occasion were the District Education Officer, Sibi, Amanullah Notezai, besides other concerned officers.
She said that the present provincial government is sincere in elimination of cheating from examinations, and when it was done then no one could defeat the province in the field of education.
She said that the government would materialize the dream of educated Balochistan by the grace of Allah Almighty.
The Chief Minister, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch is taking personal interest to bring improvement in education sector raising its standard, Ms. Lehri mentioned adding that concrete steps have been taken for prevention of cheating and use of other unfair means in the examinations so that the students could focus on their studies and excel purely on the basis of their ability.
She said that the students having the ability would only get their due right. She advised the students to work hard and not indulge in unfair means.
She also urged the teachers to play their due role in improving state of education in the province.
The NP’s parliamentarian on the occasion inspected the examination centers and also checked the roll number slips of the candidates appearing in the Matric examinations.
She said that the role of teachers in prevention of cheating is vital as such they should play it.
She directed to the examination’s supervisory staff to discharge their duties well and take stern action against those found involved in cheating.
