Secretary BISE and others visit exam centers in Mastung district Putting an end to cheating is a key to quality education, says Professor Sarparah

QUETTA: The Secretary Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta, Professor Shaukat Sarparah along with the Secretary Planning and Development, Manzoor Ahmed Sarapah and Deputy Commissioner Mastung, Muhammad Ahmed Durrani visited different examination centers in Mastung district.
They reviewed the arrangements made for prevention of cheating and other unfair means in the examinations in the exam centers established in Government High School Kanak and Government High School Paring abad.
Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary BISE said that cheating is a menace, as such it must be eliminated. He said that the dream of development couldn’t be materialized without quality education.
So, we have to ensure quality education in our educational institutions so that the dream of progress could be materialized, he maintained.
Professor Shaukat Sarparah mentioned that the Chief Minister has given the special task for bringing reforms in the education sector. In this regard, it is being ensured to put an end to cheating in the examinations, he maintained.
On the occasion, the security measures adopted in and around the exam centers were also reviewed by the visiting team.
It was informed that the photo state shops located close to the exam centers are closed during the paper hours as part of the measures taken for prevention of cheating in the exams.
The Secretary BISE asked the exam staff as well as parents and teachers to play their role in elimination of cheating from the exams.
