Delegation of HEC visits Balochistan University

QUETTA: A delegation of Higher Education Commission (HEC) led by its Executive Director, Professor Dr. Mansoor Akbar Kundi visited the University of Balochistan (UOB) the other day.
The members of the delegation met the Vice Chancellor of UoB, Professor Dr. Javed Iqbal. They also reviewed different development projects being implemented with financial cooperation of the HEC in the University.
They also participated in the ceremony of inauguration of two academic blocks which was performed by the Governor, Muhammad Khan Achakzai, who also happens to be Chancellor of the University.
The Executive Director HEC, Professor Mansoor Kundi, who has also served as Dean Faculty in the UoB, also performed ground breaking of two new projects there.
The projects were included: department of renewable energy, department of seismology and delegation of languages.
Appreciating the development projects, the members of HEC delegation said that it is appreciable to see the projects completing in time.
The Vice Chancellor applauded the role of HEC in completion of certain projects in the University. He vowed to complete the projects within the time span of one year.
