TIBM, women organizations to join as well: Ladies Pardah Club to honour outstanding women on IWD

QUETTA: The women demonstrating exceptional performance in different sectors would be honoured at a ceremony to be arranged by the Ladies Pardah Club.
The ceremony would be arranged on March 05 (Thursday) marking the International Women’s Day (IWD).
The Tanzim Idara Bahali-e-Mustehqeen (TIBM) and other organizations working for uplift of the womenfolk would also join the Pardah Club in the celebrations of IWD.
In a statement issued here by the Ladies Pardah Club, it was stated that the prizes and shields would be distributed among the outstanding women in recognition of their services in different sectors of the province.
It was said that the women are determined for development and prosperity of the country and the province shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts.
The very objective behind arranging the ceremony is to honour the women and recognize their services.
It may be mentioned that that the National Party would also hold a women’s convention on the occasion of International Women’s Day in Quetta.
In a statement issued here, Dr. Shama Ishaq, who happens to be the central Secretary of NP’s Women Wing, said that different committees have been formed to make necessary arrangements for the convention.
The committees are included: organizing committee, finance committee and information committee.
The organizing committee would comprise: Ms. Sabira Islam Advocate, Ms. Tahira Khursheed Baloch, Ms. Kashifa Taj Gichki, Liaquat Shahwani.
Finance Committee: Ms. Farzana Raisani and Sumair Samalani.
Information Committee: Sumaira Shaukat Anqa and Ali Ahmad Lango.
The responsibility of the theme and logo was assigned to Ms. Fatima Khan.
