Saad Rafiq meets Akhtar Mengal

QUETTA Mar 4 (PPI): Balochistan cannot be conquered at gun point not any one can impose its will on Pakistan. There is need to eliminate sense of deprivation of Balochistan. Political parties should be given representation in Senate by failing People with brief cases.
These views were expressed by Federal Minister Khwaja Saad Rafiq while addressing a joint meeting with President Balochistan National party Sardar Akthar Mengal at here Wednesday.
Earlier he held meeting with Akthar Mengal at his residence.
Minister of State Jam Kamal, provincial minister Shaikh Jaffar Mandokhel, Central vice President PML-N Sardar Yaqoob Nassar, Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti, Dr Jahan Zeb Jamaldini, Sardar Dr Muhammad Nassar and others were also present.
Khwaja Saaad Rafiq said we pray for successful fo candidate of Akhtar Mengal. There is delay in our contact with Akhtar Mengal or we had participated in support of his candidate. He said there is need to stop way of people with brief cases because for resolving problem problems there are need for political representatives in Senate. They include JUI, PML-N, BNP, PMAP and National Party.
He said federal government was doing its best to resolve problems of Balochistan but no problem can be resolve at gun point not it is solution to the problem. No one can impose its will on Pakistan at gun point.
He said we had contacts with BNP. We would do ort best to make them effective again. We would remove people?s reservations to resolve Balochistan?s problems and establish educational institutions in the province.
Speaking on the occasion Akhtar Mengal said people of Balochistan would never like to be third degree citizens. If rulers have to take them along first they should be accepted as first grade citizens.
He said he has long and brotherly relations with Saad Rafiq. We did make complaints during the meeting but according to Baloch traditions we go to meet Saad Rafiq but he has come to meet us here and we are thankful to him for it.
He said during the meeting we exchanged views on past and future and realized that we would further improve our contacts. He said for this there is need from both sides. He said to remove our complaints and reservations attention on Balochistan?s problems is only way because it has always been ignored. He said sense of deprivation of people fo Balochistan is still there. People would never remain silent over their interests. He said all living in Balochistan including Hazara, settlers, Baloch and Pashtoons have to give their status.
