PML-N, PMAP, NP share 3 seats each in Senate polls

QUETTA(PPI): Elections on 12 seats in Senate from Balochistan were held in a peaceful manner here Thursday. All the members in a house of 65 polled their votes.
Pakistan Muslim League-N, Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party and National Party bagged three seats each while JUI-F, BNP as well as an independent candidate also remained successful.
According to details elections for 12 seats in Senate form this province were held here today. Of these seven were general, 2 for technocrats, 2 for women and one reserved for minority. Polling started at 9 am and continued till 4 pm. All the 65 members of Balochistan assembly exercised their right of franchise.
Abdul Majid Abro was the first to cast his vote.
According to unofficial results Hasil Bizenjo (NP), Osman Kakar and Azam Musakhel (PMAP), Nematullah Zehri (PML-N), Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hydri (JUI-F), Dr Jahan Zeb Jamaldini (BNP) and Independent Candidate Yusuf Badini remained successful on general seats.
Kabir Muhammad Shehi (National party) and Agha Shahbaz Durrani (PML-N) were also declared elected against technocrat seats.
Kulsoom Parveen (PML-N) and Gul Bashara (PMAP) were declared elected against women seats while Ashoke Kumar of National Party remained successful against Minority seat.
