QUETTA Mar 6 (PPI): Balochistan cannot progress so long its real problems are resolved sincerely. Rulers have no interest in resolving these problems.
This was stated by President Balochistan national party (BNP) Sardar Akhtar Mengal while speaking to newsmen after a reception hosted for him by speaker Jan Muhammad Jamali here Friday.
Newly elected Senators Dr Jahanzeb Jamaldini, Yusuf Badini and others were also present.
Akhtar Mengal said owing to wrong policies Balochistan has become graveyard. If still situation was not improved it would become more serious. We come to the assembly under the escort of our guards. If the same situation prevailed we would not be able to come to assembly even with our guards.
He said in the eyes of Islamabad people there is development on Zarghoon road, Gwadar and Saindak. If they really want development they should visit interior of Balochistan what are the problems of people and how many. But to them development is some projects which cannot resolve problems of Balochistan.
He said with two members BNP has succeeded in electing its Senator. We can achieve Chief Ministership with the help of tow MPAs but he added he does not want to become helpless chief minister. He said those who are helpless chief minister it should remained with them.
Answering a question he said our party member Dr Jahan Zeb would not only take voice of our party only but of suppressed people of the province in Senate.
He said our member won the Senate sea with the support of Jan Muhammad Jamali, Tariq Magsi, ANP, BNP-A members. We are thankful to them .
