QUETTA: All Head Nurses Alliances Balochistan have demanded of the provincial government to take notice of the alleged violation of the merit in the nursing sector.
In a press release issued here, the Alliance pointed out that presently 55 nurses are serving in Grade-16 and over 50 nurses are serving in Grade-17, but their seniority is not allegedly being considered in their posting.
It was pointed out that some time the nurses, who serve in Grade-16 or even junior, are posted as Deputy Nursing Superintendent Balochistan, which is an injustice with the senior and senior most qualified nurses.
This means that a head nurse of Grade-17 with over 30 years of experience is forced to serve under supervision of her junior nurse of Grade-17.
It was demanded of the government to resolve the issues facing the nurses in the province.
It was also demanded to appoint senior Head Nurse as the Assistant Nursing Superintendent in the Sandeman Provincial Headquarter Hospital Quetta.
Moreover, the service structure of nurses should also be formed.
