Cold weather grips Balochistan

QUETTA(PPI): Another cold spell gripped Quetta and other parts of Balochistan Saturday following widespread thunder rain and hailstorm and snowfall in northern areas Friday.
Strong southwesterly winds at velocity of 24 knots raising dust lashed the valley last night and during the day today. Dust in suspension in air reduced visibility to just one Km.
Quetta received 12 mm of rains, Kalat, 11.5 mm in Zhob, 3 mm in Barkhan, Khuzdar and Sibi 1 mm each yesterday.
Reports of cold weather have also been received from Kalat, Zhob, Chaman, Ziarat and other parts. There was thin attendance in bazaars, markets and also thin traffic on the road sin the city.
Minimum temperature recorded Saturday was 4.5 Celsius and maximum 6.5 Celsius.
Met office has predicted cloudy weather with gusty winds with chances of light rain during the coming 24 hours.
