‘UoB committed to higher education in Balochistan’

QUETTA: Vice Chancellor of University of Balochistan (UOB), Professor Dr. Javed Iqbal has said that the University is committed to the higher education in the province remaining in its limited resources.
he said that that the students belonging to the remote areas of the province are being imparted higher education so that they are able to shoulder future responsibilities once they are in practical life, stated while talking to the other day.
Professor Dr. Javed Iqbal further said that it has been ensured to conduct 100 various examinations in the University.
He said that the unnecessary expenses have been reduced in the university on one hand while the academic activities have been increased on the other hand, he maintained.
He said that the final shape is being given to different development projects including establishment of two new academic blocks and buildings for five departments in the University.
This would help develop and strengthen infrastructure of the University, the Vice Chancellor added further.
He said that the morning and evening classes would also be launched from new academic session. The 100 percent students would be given admission in the University so that none is deprived of the higher education, he concluded.
