Commissioner Chairs meeting on Pakistan Day programmes

QUETTA(PPI): Different sports events would be organised on Pakistan Day march 23. These vents would be held at Ayub Stadium, Government Girls High School, railways Hokey Ground, Hanna Lake and Mali Bagh.
Decision to this effect was taken at a meeting under the chairmanship of Commissioner Quetta division Qambar Dashti here Thursday.
Representatives from Southern Command, Headquarters Frontier Corps, Special Branch, Deputy Commissioner, SSP Operation, Director Sports Balochistan, Chief Metropolitan Corporation attended.
These sports are aimed at to provide healthy environment to the youth and providing opportunities of entertainment to the people and enticing young generation towards positive activities.
Meeting formed committees for cleanliness at Ayub Stadium and other arrangements .A control room would also be setup where representatives form all the departments would remain present. Special arrangements would also be made for flow of traffic.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Quetta Daud Khilji also chaired a meeting about colourful activities at Askari Park on March 23.
Meeting decided that as in the past, colourful functions would also be organised at Askari Park this year to provide entertainment environment to the women and children. Stalls would be setup by NGOs and government departments where traditional and culture aspects would be highlighted. Meeting also formed committees about arrangements while Deputy Commissioner would personally monitor arrangements.
