QUETTA: The Chief Secretary Balochistan, Saifullah Chattha has directed to the concerned authorities to make the process of recruitments in the provincial government departments transparent.
He was addressing a meeting of the secretaries of different provincial government departments here the other day.
He maintained that fair recruitments are necessary for giving the talented youth their due right in jobs.
He also stressed that the departments which have completed the process of tests and interviews should issue notification of appointments as soon as possible. While those departments which have not yet issued schedule of the tests should also conduct the tests and interviews immediately, he directed further.
This would help remove the resentment prevailing among the youth and they would find job opportunities, he believed.
Chattha also directed to the participants of meeting to ensure transparency in the recruitments as no leniency and negligence would be tolerated whatsoever.
The Chief Secretary also directed to ensure timely completion of development projects in the province.
He said special steps must be taken to stop wastage of funds and the public exchequer.
No compromise would be made on quality of work on the projects, he asserted.
Referring the taxes ratio, the Chief Secretary directed to improve the same achieving the targets set for various departments.
This is necessary for the province to bring improvement in the provincial receipts, he maintained.
