Afshan Saleem set to represent Pakistan in United Nations

QUETTA: A girl guide belonging to Pakistan Girls Guide Association (PGGA) Balochistan Branch, namely Ms. Afshan Saleem would have the honour to represent the country in 59th session of the Commission on the Status of Women.
The ceremony is scheduled to be held from March 19-21, 2015 in United Nations’ headquarter located in New York, United States of America.
It may be mentioned here that the UN’s Commission is a policy making agency on elimination and prevention of all forms of violence against women and rights.
The session is held in March every year making the Women’s Day.
