UoB is progressing satisfactorily, says Vice Chancellor

QUETTA: Vice Chancellor, University of Balochistan (UoB), Dr. Javed Iqbal has said that the University is progressing well.
This, he stated while chairing a meeting here the other day.
The Pro-Vice Chancellor of UoB, Professor Dr. Mehrab Khan, Registrar, Muhammad Tariq Jogezai, Treaure, Jeeand Khan Jamaldini, Deans of the faculties and heads of the departments attended the meeting, which reviewed the academic and research activities, new admissions, besides other related matters.
The Vice Chancellor said that the academic activities have been resumed in the University on start of the new academic year. The new admissions are being done in the University. As the University’s affairs are being run under it’s charter so it is progressing well. He also mentioned that certain issues have been resolved following the steps timely taken by the policy making institutions.
The audit of all the departments has been done as well, he maintained. The steps taken have helped brought improvement in the overall academic environment of the University, the Vice Chancellor said.
Overall 100 research papers have also been published in different journals, Dr. Javed Iqbal noted with contentment adding that 20 Ph.D and 90 M.Phil scholars have been selected for the awards.
