Voice of Youth and Forests Dept. join hands: Tree plantation drive launched in various Quetta city schools

QUETTA: Tree plantation campaign was launched in different schools of Quetta district. The campaign entitled “Paiwasta reh shajar se umeed-e-bahar rakh†has been launched by the Voice of Youth Quetta and Forests Department.
The Provincial Secretary Forests, Khuda-e-Rahim Ejbani and Patron of Voice of Youth, Ms. Jahan Ara Tabassum planted trees as part of the campaign in the schools.
They also inspected the campaign there. It was informed that around 1,000 saplings have so far been planted in the campaign.
The Secretary Forests appreciated the Voice of Youth team and administration of the schools in running the tree plantation campaign.
He said that tree plantation is sadqa jariyah (continual charity) so everyone should make a contribution in it planting trees in their respective areas.
The trees contribute a lot in keeping the environment clean, he maintained.
The Secretary Forests mentioned that we have planned to plant at least 10 million trees during the current spring plantation campaign in the province.
