Tacking calamities, emergent situation: PDMA and Pak Army Disaster Management to work together

QUETTA: Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and Pak Army Disaster Management (PADM) have agreed on strengthening further the mutual coordination between the two authorities in order to tackle any natural calamity and emergent situation in the province.
The arrangement was made during meeting of PADM Hub’ Colonel Saadat with the Director General PDMA, Tahir Munir Minhas here the other day.
The two discussed matters pertaining to the preparedness for tackling the emergent situation in wake of the natural calamities and so in the province.
It was decided to evolve a comprehensive course of action in this regard. Moreover, it was also decided to make the communication between the control rooms of Provincial Disaster Management Authority and Pak Army Disaster Management so as to exchange necessary information in case of any emergent situation.
