FC organizes more free medical camps

QUETTA: Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan continued to set up free medical camps in different parts of the province.
According to a press release issued here by the PRO FC, two camps were set up in Kalat and Bela marking celebrations of the Pakistan Day on Thursday.
A large number of people visited the camps to get medical facility. The medical staff in the camps attended the patients including female, male and children and provided them necessary treatment.
The medicines of worth thousands of rupees were also distributed among the patients visiting the camps.
The Commandant Kalat Scouts and Commandant Awaran Militia visited the camps. Talking to the patients, they mentioned that the free medical camps are being set up on special directives of the Inspector General of FC, Major General Sher Afgun. The very purpose behind organizing the camps is to provide free and timely medical facilities and medicines to the patients of far flung areas of the province, they maintained.
According to the press release, the patients turning up to the camps appreciated the spirit of the FC regarding serving the ailing humanity.
They also praised the facilities provided in the camps.
It may also be mentioned here that one-day free medical camp was also set up in Lanjo Saghari of Sui, the other day.
