BPLA calls for on-merit transfer and posting

QUETTA: Balochistan Professors and Lecturers Association (BPLA) has demanded of the concerned authorities to prepare a clear policy for transfer and posting in the Colleges, Higher and Technical Education department.
In a statement issued here, the spokesman of BPLA said that the tenure and rotation policy should be evolved on the basis of seniority bringing an end to the favouritism and nepotism in transfer and posting.
It was also demanded to make bound the Colleges Directorate and Secretariat not to make proposals for out of turn promotions or on the basis of favouritism as a resentment is prevailing among the college teachers.
It was mentioned that the teachers are discharging their duties in the remote areas even without the basic facilities of life. So, it is mandatory for the concerned department to facilitate them, it was stressed.
