English medium being introduced in Govt. schools: Barech

QUETTA: The Advisor to Chief Minister for Education, Sardar Raza Muhammad Barech has said that the provincial government is determined to ensure revolutionary steps in the education sector.
He stated so while speaking on the occasion of launching of English language classes in the Government High School Prince Road here the other day.
He said that the children studying in the government educational institutions would be imparted education in English language from their early age to the Matriculation in order to bridge the gulf between the Urdu and English mediums.
This would enable the poor children of the remote areas compete as per the present day requirements, he maintained.
The Advisor on Education on the occasion also mentioned that uniform of the students of government educational institutions has also been changed and it is being produced as per the general trends so that they may not suffer from any inferiority complex.
We are initiating the plan from Quetta district, and then it would be expanded to other districts of the province as well after its success, Barech mentioned.
The Secretary Secondary Education, Abdul Saboor Kakar, Principal Government High School Prince Road, Sted Ibadullah Gharsheen and other concerned high ups of the Education department were also present.
