4,500 Benazir cards to be distributed among deserving women

QUETTA: The Mayor of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation, Dr. Kalimullah Khan and Deputy Mayor, Muhammad Younas Baloch visited the office of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).
The Board members of the BISP Amjad Rasheed and Faiz Muhammad Kakar were also accompanied to them.
They were briefed about the overall functioning of the Programme by Muhammad Jawad and Abdul Rauf.
It was informed to them that it has been targeted to distribute 4,500 Benazir cards among the deserving women in Quetta.
It was informed further that problems are being faced in finding out the deserving women.
The officials of the BISP urged the QMC Mayor and Deputy Mayor to summon a meeting of the councilors so as to find deserving women through them in their respective areas.
Dr. Kalimullah on the occasion assured that the councilors would be given task to find out the right women for the financial assistance.
