Secretary PTA visits Karachi route buses’ offices

QUETTA: Secretary Provincial Transport Authority (PTA), Abdul Khaliq Mandokhail has said that the provincial government is taking every possible steps to provide best and comfortable traveling facilities to passengers in the province.
He was speaking on eve of his surprise visit to the booking offices of the Karachi route passenger coaches and buses here the other day. He was flanked by the representative of Regional Transport Authority, Jan Muhammad Muhammad Hassani.
He inspected the facilities being offered to the passengers travelling on the route besides condition of the coaches and the seats.
He visited the waiting rooms for the male and female passengers as well as toilets, bathrooms and the mosque.
The Secretary PTA also spoke to the passengers and inquired about the services being provided to them.
Also present on the occasion were the Vice Chairman of Karachi Union, Nasarullah Dehwar and its other office bearers.
The Secretary PTA said that the government is determined to provide maximum travelling facilities to the passengers.
He said that the transport system is improving in the province as he also commended the role of transporters in this regard.
He was appreciative of the Karachi route transporters for providing maximum facilities to the route passengers.
He on the occasion also urged the transporters of other routes to facilitate the passengers every possibly so that the passengers may not suffer.
Needless to mention here is that the Secretary PTA is visiting the offices of the transport and bus terminals on special directives of the Provincial Minister for Transport, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Secretary Transport, Muhammad Khalid Baloch and Commissioner Quetta Division, Kambar Dashti.
