QUETTA: The Commissioner Quetta Division, Kambar Dashti flanked by the Deputy Commissioner, Dawood Khilji and ADC (Revenue), Muhammad Rafiq Tareen visited the examination centers established in different government schools and colleges of Quetta.
He reviewed the security as well as other arrangements made for prevention of cheating and use of unfair means in the examinations.
The centers visited by the Commissioner were established in the Government Science College, Government Special High School, Railway Girls High School, Government Elementary College, Government Inter-Boys Musa College, Government Inter-Boys College Brewery road.
The Commissioner on the occasion directed to the concerned staff not to allow any unauthorized persons to enter in the exam centers under the Section 144 already imposed in and around the centers.
Similarly, the shops of photo state located near the exam centers should also not be allowed to open during the examinations, he directed further adding those found violating the directives in this regard must be arrested.
He also asked the exam staff to do thorough search of the candidates appearing in the exams before their entry in the centers.
The action would be taken against the concerned exam staff if some material was found from the students in the exam centers besides cancelling the papers of the guilty students, he warned.
The Commissioner also directed to all the deputy commissioners to ensure implementation on the government’s directives issued for prevention of cheating in the exams.
He also asked them to pay visits to the exam centers on regular basis and ensure that the cheating is fully eliminated from the exams.
He on the occasion pledged to eliminate cheating and use of other unfair means in the Inter exams so that the talented students may not deprive of their right in education.
He said that the administration together with the Education department is taking steps for elimination of cheating in the exams.
Meanwhile, the Assistant Commissioner Quetta city, Tariq Mengal also visited different exam centers set up in the Government Special High School, Islamia Middle School, Islamia High School, Shaheed Shafiq Ahmed Khan High School, Taameer-e-Nau Public College, Sandeman High School, Government Science College, Central High School, Girls College Quarry Road and others.
He also inspected the photo state shops located nearby the exam centers. He expressed his satisfaction over closure of the shops during examination hours.
