20 killed, 5 injured in terrorists attack near Turbat

QUETTA/TURBAT Apr 11 (PPI): Twenty labourers were killed and five injured in terrorists attack near Turbat Saturday. Of these 15 belonged to Punjab and 4 from Sindh.
Government of Balochistan has announced Rupees one million for each deceased and Rupees 50 thousand each for injured people.
According to details terrorists attacked workers camp in Gok Dan area Turbat in wee hours today. As many as 20 labourers working on Sorab Bridge died and 5 others sustained injuries. Of those killed 15 were form Punjab and 4 from Sindh.
Eight security personnel were also deployed at their camp. An exchange of fire took place between terrorists and security men. But attackers made good their escape under the cover of night. No group has yet admitted the responsibility.
Security forces and Police reached the scene cordoned the area and started search operation for the arrest of terrorists.
It is added here that murderous attacks have been committed against workers from other pro0vicnes in Balochistan. In October last year armed men had abducted eight workers in Sakran area of Hub and their dead bodies were found form nearby mountains.
Deputy Commissioner Turbat Mumtaz Baloch told that workers were working at Sorab Bridge near Turbat. Armed men attacked their camp in which 20 labourers were killed and 5 were injured. He said of those killed were form Punjab and Sindh. Dead bodies and injured were brought to district headquarters hospital Turbat. Later dead bodies were dispatched to their native areas while injured were undergoing treatment.
Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch cut short his visit to Gwadar and reached Turbat today. Chairing an emergency meeting he strongly condemned the incident. He said terrorist would be taken to task.
Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti told Newsmen that Indian secret agency Raw is involved in the terrorist attack in Turbat. He said an inquiry has been ordered into reaction of security men posted for the security of labourers.
He said government is committed to end terrorists. Killing of innocent people cannot be allowed in this way. He aid search operation has been launched for the arrest of terrorists in the mountainous areas. Terrorists would be chased everywhere.
