KALAT Apr 11 (PPI): Doctors shortage in District Kalat would be removed and any doctor who would not perform his duty would be relieved form duty.
Performance of PPHI in Kalat is disappointing as patients do not get medicines in rural areas.
Under education emergency dozens of primary schools have been upgraded to middle and middle schools as High schools. Efforts are underway for providing clean drinking water to the people in rural areas.
These views were expressed by MNA Sardar Kamal Bangulzai and National party Central leader at a high level meeting at DC Kalat office Saturday.
DC ALAT Salahuddin Noorzai, Chairman Kalat Municipal Committee Muhammad Nawaz Shahwani and other district officers were also present.
Kamal Bangulzai expressing serious anger over performance of PPHI in Kalat said its units work in remote areas but these lack medicines causing difficulties to the rural populace.
He said shortage of doctors in District headquarters hospital Kalat and Surab would be resolved shortly. Doctors selected on local and domicile basis would be made biding to perform in Kalat. Any doctor who would refuse strict action would be taken against him.
He said due to efforts of Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and Adviser on Finance Khalid Langav under education emergency nearly 100 schools have been upgraded in Kalat and Khaliqabad while several new schools have also been opened. This speaks well of provincial government education friendly policy, he added.
