QUETTA: The Markazi Anjuman Tajran Baloch has announced to take out protest rally in favour of shifting of the private bus and wagon terminals from the city areas to Hazar Ganji.
The rally is scheduled to be taken out on April 18 from the Hazar Ganji area to the provincial assembly building where protest demonstration would be staged, stated the President of Anjuman Tajran Balochistan, Abdul Rahim Kakar, other leaders Hazrat Ali Achakzai, Allah Dad Tareen, Syed Abdul Khaliq Agha, Noor Muhammad Achakzai and others in a joint statement issued here the other day.
They said that we had been lodging protest against non-shifting of the bus terminals from the city areas to Hazar Ganji, but to no avail. The provincial ministers, Commissioner Quetta and other high ups made commitments with us to fulfill the demand, but nothing has so far been done in this regard, they regretfully pointed out.
Primarily, we had decided to take out protest rally from Hazar Ganji area to Chief Minister’s House, but now a little amendment has been made in our schedule, they mentioned.
As per the amended schedule, we would be lodging our protest in front of the Provincial Assembly on April 18 as its session is scheduled to be held at that day, the leaders of Anjuman Tajran Balochistan announced.
It is our immediate demand to shift all the private bus terminals from Quetta city to Hazar Ganji area, they said.
